This page contains Safety & Operational videos that are REQUIRED for everyone who will be operating/using GoGo's equipment.
Just follow the instructions below and throughout the page and you'll be ready to have a great SAFE time in no time at all.
Reason #1 - The Safety Videos presented here are professionally produced by reputable organizations with clear and concise information, and, if viewed in their entirety and with full attention, effectively convey much of the important safety information that every person needs to be a safe and responsible member of the boating community.
These are not the only safety videos or information available to the public, and we HIGHLY encourage you, and your guests to seek out all information necessary to gain an appropriate understanding and respect for the multiple environments and conditions that you may become involved with while enjoying our equipment.
NOTE: If you, or any of your guests, feel you do not understand the safe and responsible operation of the types of equipment that GoGo Rentals supplies DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE OR USE THEM. Return the equipment immediately and find another way to safely spend your time in our area.
Reason #2 - We also present the material here in this format so that we can get you checked out in a timely manner on the morning of your rental. (normal check-out times are usually about 15-20 minutes)
Everyone that is present during your checkout will be required to answer some basic safety questions about the material covered in these videos as we must ensure everyone leaves our shop with a safety briefing,
***If it becomes apparent that your group has not watched the Safety Videos, then we are required to do a LIVE SAFETY BRIEFING before allowing you to depart. This live briefing will add a minimum of 30-45 minutes to your check-out process, so make sure all of your family and guests watch the videos, they are for everyone’s safety and will ensure you have a quick checkout that allows you to spend the most time at the lake.*** (alternatively you can choose to watch the online videos and then do a Safety review prior to your departure)
As the RENTER, you are responsible for ensuring that everyone who will be using the equipment has watched the safety videos.
While it is not required that "passengers" watch the safety videos, we do find that many of those passengers, later on at the lake, decide to TRY OUT being "operators" and would be required to watch the videos.
With sometimes limited cell service, watching the videos while at the lake becomes impossible, the person goes ahead and tries to operate the equipment and is not able to do so safely. This is the primary reason injuries to our equipment occurs. Not to mention the possible injuries that could occur to that operator or others.
Remember that YOU (the RENTER) are responsible for everything that happens to the equipment, as well as, to others.
If you, or the other family and guests, are determined to have not watched the videos, or cannot show proper safety knowledge contained in the videos at time of check-out, then we are required to do a LIVE PRESENTATION of the safety material.
This will add an additional 30-45 minutes to your checkout process (in addition to the other necessary check-out processes approx. 15-20 min.)
It will cause your departure to be delayed...and it will cause your time on the lake to be shortened.
REMEMBER: Safety is our #1 goal and the videos are a requirement in order to meet that goal :)
